What is Page Ranking?

Page Rank is a term used by Google, now the most widely used search engine in the world - reportedly carrying 80% of all searches!!

Your Page Rank is how high google ranks your site in terms of interest and use to the people searching on Google. The lowest being 0 and the highest being 10.

It is commonly accepted that a good site would have a page rank of 3 or more and an excellent site one of 5 or more.

How important is your Page Rank?

Well actually we know how to get you top 10 on Google with a 0 page rank! So it could be argued its not that important, however for the long term and broad view of the internet it is certainly worth looking at getting a high Page Rank of 5 or more.
